Howard Hawks

(1896 - 1977), American movie director and producer. His films include "Scarface", "The Big Sleep", "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" and "Rio Bravo".

Howard Robard Hughes

(1905 - 76), American industrialist, aviator and movie producer. He greatly increased his inherited oil wealth and made several epic flights, including a record round-the-world trip. Gradually he became increasingly eccentric and went into seclusion in 1966.

Adam Smith

(1723 - 90), Scottish economist and philosopher. His book "Inquiry into the Nature and Causes of the Wealth of Nations" which advocated free trade was a huge influence in the development of modern capitalist societies.
